How Fees Work

All services are billed in line with the NDIS Price Guide, DVA schedules, or private rates.

NDIS Social Work is delivered under the registered line item:
15_621_0128_1_3 — Assessment, Recommendation, Therapy or Training – Social Worker

Fees may include:

  • Direct sessions
    (home, community, online or phone)

  • Functional capacity assessments & psychosocial reports

  • Travel and provider time
    (charged only as permitted under NDIS rules)

Funding Options & What This Means for You

NDIS

  • Support can be funded under Improved Daily Living (15_621_0128_1_3) — including:

    • Social work therapeutic supports

    • Functional capacity assessments

    • Psychosocial reports and evidence

  • Therapeutic Life Story Work (TLSW™) is funded under therapeutic supports.

  • Psychosocial Recovery Coaching (PRC) is funded separately under Capacity Building – Support Coordination.

DVA – Veteran Services

  • General social work services for eligible veterans and families.

  • A GP referral is required.

    • White Card or Gold Card funding (bulk-billed where eligible)

    • Support available through Open Arms pathways if preferred

Private

  • $170 per hour

  • Flexible options available if you:

    • are awaiting NDIS approval

    • do not use NDIS or DVA funding

    • access services such as TLSW™ or clinical supervision

  • Private billing can provide continuity and choice while navigating pathways.
