Meet Laura

Hi, I’m Laura Simpson — accredited social worker (AASW) and founder of Lets Reseed.

I provide NDIS social work, psychosocial therapy, functional capacity assessments, DVA-approved social work support, therapeutic life story work, and reflective supervision for students and practitioners.

Across 15 years in the UK and Australia, I’ve supported children, young people, adults, families and veterans to feel more confident, connected and in control of their everyday lives.

What guides my practice

I combine:

  • Trauma-informed and recovery-oriented therapy

  • Strong psychosocial and functional assessment skills

  • Whole-person, relationship-centred support

  • Collaboration with families and care teams

  • Clear, evidence-based reporting for the NDIS

People I work with describe me as approachable, thorough and genuinely invested in their progress — someone who walks alongside you and helps things feel possible again.

My role is to hold hope, strengthen confidence, and support growth in the ways that matter most.

Why Social Work?

Social work is a nationally recognised NDIS and DVA allied health profession that supports people — including NDIS participants, veterans and families — to navigate life’s challenges, strengthen wellbeing, and build skills that make everyday life more manageable and meaningful.

Social workers combine therapy, advocacy and practical support — seeing the whole person and the environments that impact them.
