A Different Kind of CV: The Social Worker Behind Lets Reseed
This isn’t a CV.
There’s no timeline of roles, no list of duties, no neat summary of everything I’ve ever done.
Not because those things don’t matter — but because they don’t really tell you how I work, or why Lets Reseed exists.
This is a snapshot instead.
Of me. Of my approach. Of what it’s like to work with a social worker who believes that growth doesn’t need to be rushed, and support doesn’t have to be loud.
How I Came to Social Work
I’ve always been interested in people — not just what’s happening on the surface, but what sits underneath.
The patterns.
The systems.
The moments where things feel stuck, uncertain, or unfinished.
Social work made sense to me because it lives in those spaces. It allows room for complexity, for pause, for change that doesn’t follow a straight line. It values listening as much as action, and recognises that progress often looks quieter than we expect.
I didn’t come to social work to fix people.
I came to walk alongside them while things shift — sometimes slowly, sometimes unexpectedly.
Where I Work Now
My work sits across different settings and stages of life.
I work across hospital and community settings, supporting people during periods of illness, transition, and uncertainty — often at times when decisions feel complex, and emotions run high.
Through Lets Reseed, this includes NDIS social work, psychosocial therapy, life story work, veteran support, social work assessments, and teaching, mentoring, and both individual and group supervision for students and practitioners.
Moving between these roles keeps my practice grounded. It reminds me that regardless of setting, people are still people — navigating systems, relationships, identities, and change — and that thoughtful, steady support can make a meaningful difference.
How I Actually Work With People
This is the part that matters most.
I work slowly and intentionally.
I focus on starting things well — setting foundations, creating clarity, and helping people feel supported enough to take the next step.
Sometimes my role isn’t to finish everything.
It’s to put the right supports in place so that care continues beyond our time together.
That might look like:
helping someone understand their options
coordinating with other professionals
preparing referrals or handovers
building confidence to engage with services
naming boundaries clearly and kindly
I value collaboration, not control.
I believe good support should feel steady, respectful, and sustainable — not overwhelming or rushed.
Why Lets Reseed Exists
Lets Reseed came from the idea that growth doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like:
pausing instead of pushing
choosing a different path
returning to what matters
starting again, gently
Reseeding is about tending to what’s already there, not forcing something new to grow before it’s ready.
That’s how I work, and that’s what this practice represents.
Who This Might Be For
This space is for people who:
aren’t sure what kind of support they need yet
want social work that feels human and grounded
value reflection as much as action
are navigating change, illness, transitions, or identity
are looking for support that grows with them
It’s also for referrers, collaborators, and students who want to understand how I approach my work — not just what services I offer.
A Gentle Starting Point
If something here resonates, you don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need the perfect words.
You don’t need a clear plan.
Sometimes starting is the work.
Lets Reseed
